Services We Offer

We are specialist Foodservice Design Consultancy specialising in working in partnership with our clients to produce complete designs and specifications for commercial kitchens, food servery counters and bars throughout the world. From initial concept and space planning through to CAD layouts and 3D Visuals.

Desin & Planning

Commercial kitchen planning is crucial for creating an efficient and functional space. It involves assessing specific needs, allocating space into different zones, placing equipment strategically, optimizing workflow, ensuring safety and hygiene, considering accessibility and ergonomics, and complying with regulations. The process begins by understanding the requirements of the kitchen, such as menu offerings, production volume, equipment, and staff size. The available area is then divided into cooking, preparation, dishwashing, storage, and service zones, ensuring a smooth workflow. Key equipment is placed strategically to minimize staff movement, considering safety regulations and ventilation. The layout is optimized to minimize congestion and allow swift and safe movement for employees, following a logical workflow from ingredient receiving to serving. Safety measures and hygiene are integrated, including proper spacing between workstations, ventilation, and fire safety.

Mechanical Services Drawings

Once design layouts have been finalised the next stage is to produce detailed mechanical and electrical servcies drawings designed to ensure the onsite contractors install exactly what is required to ensure a smooth project instalaltion. Each service outlet is detailed in terms of size, position, loading etc.

Visuals

Three-dimensional (3D) visuals of commercial kitchens offer a dynamic and immersive way to showcase your design concepts. Here's how they can benefit your commercial kitchen design projects: Realistic Representation: 3D visuals provide a lifelike representation of your design ideas. Clients can see exactly how the kitchen will look and function once it's built. This level of realism helps clients visualize the final result, making it easier for them to provide feedback and make decisions. Detailed Layout Visualization: With 3D visuals, you can showcase intricate details of the kitchen layout. Clients can understand the placement of equipment, fixtures, workstations, and utilities from various angles. This detailed view helps clients grasp the overall flow and functionality of the space. Design Validation and Refinement: 3D visuals allow you to identify any design issues or inefficiencies before construction begins. Clients can offer feedback based on the visuals, helping you refine the design to better suit their needs. This reduces the likelihood of costly revisions during or after construction. Customization and Flexibility: 3D visuals enable you to demonstrate customization options to clients. Whether it's choosing different finishes, equipment brands, or layout variations, you can show clients the impact of these choices on the overall aesthetic and functionality of the kitchen. Efficient Communication: Sometimes, technical drawings and floor plans can be difficult for clients to interpret. 3D visuals provide a more intuitive way to convey design ideas. Clients, contractors, and other stakeholders can understand the design intent without needing specialized technical knowledge. Marketing and Presentation: When pitching your design concepts to potential clients, 3D visuals can be incredibly impactful. They help you stand out from the competition and make a compelling case for your design expertise. The visual wow factor can leave a lasting impression. Conflict Resolution: In complex kitchen layouts, conflicts can arise between different elements. 3D visuals can help identify and resolve these conflicts early in the design process, preventing issues during construction that could lead to delays and additional costs. Selling the Vision: High-quality 3D visuals help you sell your design vision. Clients might not fully understand the potential of a design until they see it in a realistic and immersive format. 3D visuals can inspire excitement and confidence in your design ideas. Documentation and Record Keeping: 3D visuals serve as valuable documentation of your design intent. They can be referenced throughout the project to ensure that the final result aligns with the initial vision, helping you maintain design consistency. Remote Collaboration: In today's globalized world, clients and team members might be located in different geographical locations. 3D visuals allow for effective remote collaboration, as stakeholders can review and provide feedback on the design without being physically present. Incorporating 3D visuals into your commercial kitchen design process can significantly enhance client engagement, project communication, and the overall success of your projects. They bridge the gap between concept and reality, offering a powerful tool to showcase your design talent and expertise.
